Dr. Eric A. Browne is a member of the senior staff in the RF Technology Group. His interests span advanced packaging of electronic devices to system-level integration of RF systems.
Prior to joining the RF Technology Group, he was an assistant leader in the Structural and Thermal-Fluids Engineering Group, where he continued the development of microjet-array thermal management. Other experiences include the development of high-power, coherently combined fiber laser systems. Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, he worked at General Electric Global Research’s Electronics Cooling Laboratory. Browne is an R&D 100 Award winner for his work on embedded microjet cooling for high-power electronics and has authored five patents.
Browne holds his BS and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
