Douglas E. Stetson

Douglas E. Stetson is a senior staff member in the Cyber Operations and Analysis Technology Group. In his more than 20 years at Lincoln Laboratory, he has worked on research in many facets of cybersecurity, including developing high-fidelity test beds modeling realistic user and network behavior, performing technology evaluations on Department of Defense research systems, developing capabilities, applying AI to cyber applications, and ensuring our country’s cyber operators have the tools they need. He was a leader of the Cyber System Assessments Group from 2012 to 2019, and of the Cyber Operations and Analysis Technology Group from 2019 to 2023. His most recent work is on counter influence operations, leading the development of a test bed for evaluating technologies used to understand the information environment.

Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, Stetson worked in industry in various software engineering roles. He received an SB degree in mathematics with computer science from MIT in 1990 and an MS degree in computer science from Tufts University in 2005.
