Ritesh N. Patel

Ritesh Patel is a leader within the Cyber Operations and Analysis Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. In his current role, Patel leads a portfolio of projects that develop innovative technologies and capabilities to enhance the nation’s cyberspace capabilities.

During his career at Lincoln Laboratory, Patel has held diverse leadership and development roles, overseeing teams that tackle complex systems analysis, architecture integration, and data analytics challenges. He has led projects ranging in scope from two-person teams to multi-organizational teams involving government, academia, federally funded research and development centers, university-affiliated research centers, and commercial partners. Patel’s passion lies in harnessing data to drive informed decisions for cyberspace operations and enabling effective all-domain operations.

Prior to joining the Laboratory, Patel played a pivotal role in the successful commercialization of an internal R&D project at BAE Systems.

Patel holds advanced degrees, including an MS degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and multiple BS degrees from Stony Brook University.
